PREPARATION AND DEPARTURE

16 boxes of food prepared for weekly shipments to post offices and hostels along the Appalachian Trail.  One box contains maps that I will continue to ship up the trail as I continue up the trail.  I will retrieve maps for new sections of the trail and place used maps back in the box before shipping on to the next resupply town I will visit.
Food supplies that will be organized into breakfast-dinner storage bags for each day’s food.  Final packing of each 6-day (1 week) food box. Packed boxes waiting for transport to MJ’s Barber Shop for storage.

Final packing of each 6-day (1 week) food box. Transport to MJ's Barber Shop John Phillips, owner of MJ’s Barber Shop who agreed to mail out boxes to postal and hostel destinations along the trail.
